Quick flaky pastry |
Make in a Large bowl | |
350g plain flour Pinch of salt |
Sift into the bowl |
200g butter, chilled in the freezer for 30 mins |
Hold the butter with a cloth and grate into the flour, mix with a knife as you grate to keep the butter covered in the flour. |
6 tbsp chilled water (more if required) |
Sprinkle with water and continue mixing, adding just enough water, to enable the dough to form a ball. Wrap in clingfilm and refrigerate for 30 mins before using. |
